Advocacy is another important function of the MISA Zambia secretariat. Since its establishment, MISA Zambia has been campaigning actively against unfair media laws, arrests, harassment and threats against journalists, the uneven playing field for privately owned and state owned media, as well as calling for far reaching media reform.
